On the handle side, you can choose from premium materials including G10, carbon fiber, Grivory®, aluminum, and Richlite®, then dial in color, liner, bolster, pivot collar, and backspacer. On the blade, you can select blade steel type and finish; satin, coated, or stonewashed depending on the model. Hardware details including thumb stud, spacers, clip, screws, and AXIS® lock color can all be configured to match. Some models also unlock exclusive materials not available in the standard lineup, so the custom builder is as much a performance upgrade as it is a design tool. Every custom knife can also be personalized with Benchmade's laser-marking process, which lets you add names, dates, logos, or original artwork directly to the blade or handle.
