PSK®

The P.S.K.™ is built for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and bushcrafters survivalists who need a dependable folder for hard-use tasks and unexpected situations. It also works well as an alternative for those who want the rapid one-hand deployment of an automatic knife but are restricted by regional carry laws.

P.S.K. stands for Personal Survival Kit. The name reflects the knife's focus on multi-purpose readiness, combining a durable MagnaCut® blade, a secure grip, and a built-in fire-starting choil in a single tool. It's designed to handle the range of tasks that come up in the field, from cutting and food prep to fire-starting, without needing to carry multiple tools.

The striking choil is a small, milled section at the base of the blade, shaped to scrape against a ferro rod similar to the sharp stone of a bushcrafting knife. Pulling the rod through it throws sparks hot enough to ignite tinder, making it a practical fire-starting method in the field without needing a separate striking tool.

AXIS® Assist builds on the ambidextrous AXIS® Lock by adding a torsion spring in the pivot that helps complete blade deployment after the user begins opening it. A standard AXIS® Lock is fully manual, while AXIS® Assist provides faster, controlled one-handed opening for situations where quick access is useful.

The spine safety is a manual sliding switch on the back of the handle that locks the blade in the closed position, preventing accidental deployment during carry. It matters most for an assisted-opening knife like the P.S.K.™, where the spring assist makes the blade easier to open, so the safety adds a layer of control until you're ready to use it.

The mixed-material handle combines the benefits of both materials. Carbon fiber helps reduce weight and adds premium styling, while textured G10 provides a tough, secure, controlled grip through the main contact points of the handle. Together, they offer the traction and toughness needed for demanding outdoor use with a touch of elevated aesthetics.
